Leadership Ocala Marion Youth (LOMY)
United Way’s Youth United Way Program has partner with the Chamber and Economic Partnership (CEP) Leadership Ocala/Marion Youth (LOMY) program. Leadership Ocala/Marion Youth (LOMY) is a nine-month program, offered by the Ocala/Marion Chamber & Economic Partnership, designed to educate and prepare high school juniors for leadership positions through hands-on learning experiences and an expanded knowledge of state and local resources and issues.

AdventHealth Ocala Teen Volunteer Program
AdventHealth Ocala is very proud to provide leadership and educational experiences for many teenagers in Marion County. They are currently looking for teens to join their healthcare team! AdventHealth would like to invite teens that meet the eligibility requirements to apply to become a Teen Volunteer.
Each teenage applicant must be CURRENTLY 16 years old and will be graded equally from the following criteria:
- Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (Copy of most current report card must be attached to application)
- College-bound with a career focus
- Profile/descriptive essay
- Availability of schedule
The teenage volunteer program is a wonderful asset to AdventHealth Ocala. Teenagers learn invaluable knowledge in a healthcare setting, and they are grooming future leaders by providing this opportunity.
