- Leadership Ocala Marion Youth (LOMY)
Sophomores – The Ocala/Marion Chamber and Economic Partnership is accepting applications for its Leadership Ocala/Marion Youth program. This program helps to develop community leaders.
- MRMC Teen Volunteer Program
Munroe Regional Medical Center is very proud to provide leadership and educational experiences for many teenagers in Marion County. They are looking for 75 teens to join their healthcare team this summer and invite teens that meet the eligibility requirements to apply to be a Teen Volunteer during their summer 2016 season.
- Youth United Way
Youth United Way is a program that provides a forum for local youth to develop leadership skills and demonstrate the importance of youth civic involvement as a key component of community change. The initiative allows for juniors and seniors in high school to serve as volunteers and leaders. They will be able to elect their own officers, participate in meetings, fundraisers and the in a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
Some activities might include, but are not limited to: learning about Marion County, giving feedback on community issues as it relates to teenagers, volunteering, running fundraising campaigns, and connecting with community leaders.
