AP Courses

Accept the Challenge

Trinity Catholic High School is a college preparatory school so challenging our students with college-level academics is a natural part of their training.  Our AP teachers are focused on providing our students with the tools, resources, and skills necessary for achieving success at the college level.Posted below is the “Advanced Placement Courses Information Sheet”, which more fully explain the demands and benefits of taking these classes.  In addition, we have posted a basic informational brochure (in both English and Spanish) and a special AP publication, “AP Bulletin for AP Students and Parents”. You can find more in-depth information about the program at the College Board website, including videos of students sharing how AP courses have impacted their college opportunities and choices.

Dual Enrollment

Earn College Credits in High School

Dual enrollment courses are college courses that students can take during high school that count both for high school and for college credit. They are typically taken by students that are looking for a challenge, a competitive advantage in enrollment, and those that are looking to get a head start on their college coursework.

For academic year 2016-2017 Trinity Catholic has partnered with three colleges for the purpose of offering dual enrollment for our students:

College of Central Florida
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
St. Thomas University

The dual enrollment courses listed in the Academic Course Catalogue 2016-2017 are designated with a “DE” proceeding the name of the course.  Please contact a member of the Guidance department staff regarding the process for enrolling in dual enrollment coursework.
