Letter from the PRESIDENT

Dear Parents or Guardians,
Welcome to Trinity Catholic High School in Ocala, Florida. We encourage you to visit our site and we share with you the wonderful things that are happening here at TCHS. We begin this new academic year by celebrating the tenth anniversary of our existence. In visiting this site we hope that you will become familiar with the great variety of programs we offer for the spiritual, academic, physical and social education of the students entrusted to our care.
Trinity Catholic High School is under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Orlando and is sponsored by the Congregation of Christian Brothers. It is staffed by dedicated Brothers and Lay teachers committed to the education of young people in a Catholic Christian setting guided by the traditions of Blessed Edmund Rice and the Christian Brothers. Recipients of a Christian Brothers education learn to witness to their Catholic Christian identity, stand in solidarity with those who are marginalized by injustice, foster a community of faith, and celebrate the value and dignity of each person. It is into this environment that we hope you consider enrolling your child/children. Following a directive from Bishop Wenski, the Bishop of Orlando, the Board of Trustees at Trinity Catholic High School has implemented the President/Principal model of school administration. I am honored and delighted to have been chosen as Trinity Catholic’s first president and I look forward to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. We will conduct a search for a new principal later in the year. Until a new principal is named, I will be sharing the principal’s responsibilities with Mrs. Gehrsitz, the Vice-Principal for Academics and Brother Ryan, C.F.C., the Vice-Principal for student life.
Trinity Catholic High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and offers a strong college preparatory curriculum at a variety of levels including Advanced Placement. Our teachers, forming the backbone of our staff, are a group of committed individuals, all of whom are certified and many of whom possess advanced degrees.
They demonstrate a passion for their profession and subject areas.
We emphasize that as a Catholic school, we are here to assist parents or guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. We do this by providing an environment rich in faith, strong in morals and discipline, and totally committed to excellence in academic achievement and the total development of the student.
Please contact the our Admissions Director, Mr. James Ranieri, at 352-622-9025 ext. 2142 for more information or to arrange for a visit. May God continue to bless you and your family and guide you in making this important decision for your son or daughter.
Sincerely,
Brother Daniel Aubin, F.S.C.
President
